Ravana Falls tumbles over a stepped rock face close to the main road. Its easy-to-see lower cascade makes it a common stop on journeys between Ella and the southern plains. Stories connecting the falls with King Ravana belong to local legend.

Stop only where parking is permitted and take care around passing traffic. View the falls from the established public areas; climbing the wet rock face or entering fast water is hazardous. Ravana Cave and upper cascades are separate places, so check your map destination carefully.
