Choose a private driver using the complete itinerary and the service you expect. Airport collection, a point-to-point transfer and a multi-day vehicle arrangement need different quotes.

Describe the job clearly

Share dates, overnight bases, passenger and luggage counts, pickup points and planned excursions. Ask whether the quote includes the whole route or only the main transfers.

Driver and guide roles

Confirm whether the person is providing driving only or also a guiding service. Ask for relevant public registration details where a professional guiding claim is made, and verify them with the issuing directory.

Vehicle and price details

Request the vehicle category, seat belts, luggage capacity and any child seating. Clarify fuel, tolls, parking, waiting, driver meals or accommodation, service hours and cancellation.

Agree the daily rhythm

Build in breaks and reasonable finish times. Discuss changes to the route before they happen and retain the provider’s written confirmation and contact details.
