Dunsinane Falls is associated with the Dunsinane and Sheen estate area near Pundalu Oya. The road and bridge separate the visible upper cascade from the longer lower section, so photographs can show quite different parts of the same waterfall.

View from a safe public stopping place and keep clear of bridge traffic. Central Province Tourism describes restricted access to the lower section associated with the Upper Kotmale project. Respect barriers and estate land; do not follow unofficial routes down the cliff.
